“Planta” is an interactive installation which allows the user to manipulate sound and projections through plants. The idea behind it is to create a playful synergy between nature and technology.
Each plant is linked to a specific sound and visual output which can be activated by touching the leaves. The intensity of those effects increase with the strength of that touch. Therefore, the user is able to combine the different stimulus to produce a unique symphony.
In August of 2022, “planta” was displayed at the CAPTCHA design festival. The installation was created as a group project by Teresa Hoffmann, Paco Gutiérrez Hardt and Sophie Humbert.
