Circular Fashion
Ecosystem 2035

An experimental project
for the future of the fashion industry

Circular Economy and Co-design
Aalto University Summer school
August 2022
📍Helsinki, Finland

What if in 2035 the extraction of raw materials
 for textile production is banned?

Perhaps we would need to harness and cherish
every single piece of clothing and material,
find ways to re-use it, re-purpose it
and recycle propperly the very worn-out textiles.

The challlenge

Propose a system of solutions for the circular economy through co-design between international students from the areas of design, engineering, architecture and computer science in an intensive 2-week workshop.

The solution

An ecosystem for the future of fashion industry towards circular economy based on a speculative scenario of the year 2035.
