I wanted to create a dynamic and varied set of letters that work well together. For me, this was a big undertaking because I had always thought in terms of strict systems, with this edition I was trying to break out of that. Within one project I designed blackletter type, postmodern type, as well as hand and digitally created calligraphic characters.
