Sedimenti è un progetto di tesi che si basa sull’analogia che vi è tra la memoria e l’identità di un pescatore, Goffredo Delle Fratte, e il suo paese. Le pagine di sedimenti sono reti da pesca che mentre evocano la pazienza delle mani che le hanno intessute, catturano anche quei linguaggi e quei ricordi che custodiscono l’essenza di un piccolo borgo della provincia Roma. Una raccolta di foto d’archivio e scatti inediti, con illustrazioni e interviste che nuotano nell’animo di chi sa ricordare. Una memoria sfocata che lascia indietro il senso dello spazio e annienta la dimensione del tempo, in cui la coscienza vacilla, se prova a districarsi in questa densa trama di ricordi che si depositano sul fondo, ma non spariscono.

Sedimenti is a thesis project based on the analogy between the memory and identity of a fisherman, Goffredo Delle Fratte, and his village. The pages of Sedimenti are fishing nets that while evoking the patience of the hands that wove them, also capture those languages and memories that hold the essence of a small village in the province of Rome. A collection of archival photos and unpublished shots, with illustrations and interviews that swim in the soul of those who know how to remember. A blurred memory that leaves behind the sense of space and annihilates the dimension of time, in which consciousness falters, if it tries to disentangle itself in this dense web of memories that settle to the bottom, but do not disappear.
