The moated castle: "Das Wasserschloss"
The historical warehouse district in the Hamburg Harbour, the "Speicherstadt", is the biggest one on the world of its kind. Since 1991 it also is a UNESCO World Heritage.
The most famous and iconic landmark is the "Wasserschloss", a moated castle. It was build in the early 19th century and is one of the oldest buildings in the complex. It also is one of the most photographed spot in Hamburg, a very classic motive of photos taken from Hamburg.
