This is the logo I created for Rex Rana, the comany that I started last year for consulting work. I have had this little frog king statue that my wife gave me for a few years, and when it came time to incorporate, I was inspired to incorporate that imagery into my company branding. When thinking of kings, I thought of the latin mottos on coins and heraldry, and thought that using a Latin name would be a fun way to go. Thus "Rex Rana", latin for frog king, was born.

 

I wanted a clean logo that was also fun and was similiar to the ltiile figurine that I have. After many sketches and iterations, this is the final logo. I chose the Pupcat font for the name because it was fun yet elegant.
