Hastings is an infamous street in Vancouver B.C. Its west is house to some of the wealthiest people and companies from the city, while the east is home to the mayority of the homeless, drugs, prostitution and poverty.
Back in 2008 I spent about a month wandering that street and its alleys trying to get to know some of the people there and at the same time, trying to gain their trust. They ended up trusting me enough to share their stories while I photographed them. With respect, I present some of the images collected back then.
