This procedural material was an attempt to recreate digitally an effect I had used as part of my art A-level, when I was working in the style of Jan Pieńkowski, which involved dropping various inks into water and swirling them, then absorbing the result in a piece of paper.

The material can animate smoothly through manipulation of the input seed of its various noise nodes, and it is applied seamlessly to objects of any geometry without requiring them to be UV unwrapped.
