MMA 2021 Brand Experience design

 
 
The Melon Music Awards(MMA), organized by the music streaming platform Melon, is the largest annual artist festival and award show in Korea, where most popular music of the year are celebrated. 
The concept of MMA 2021 is “the Music Universe”, under which the messages of change and expansion are expressed through diverse colors and dynamic graphics. The existing MMA logo square has been expanded using pixels equally dividing the existing MMA logo as minimum units, and seven key colors have been combined to express the slogan “the Next Music Universe” in systematic graphics. Four main keywords of MMA 2021 - Hope, Fun, Share and Joy - were iconically represented as pixels, and musical elements such as musical notes and equalizers have been added to turn the online event into a lively festival scene.
Plus, a special VIP kit has been developed under the theme “A Trip to the Music Universe” to maximize the brand touch point between MMA and users. It contains a passport, a ticket, a film camera, chocolate and a mood lamp for users. The items will help them feel like they are participating in actual performances, and serve as a new tool for bonding suitable for the non-contact era.
