DESIGNER STATEMENT:
This poster presents a unique traditional culture of Vietnam, strongly inspired by Paula Scher - the most famous designer of the century. The idea comes from a familiar object in the lives of Vietnamese people: The Conical Hat. In fact, when I try to associate a modern design by Paula Scher applied to a traditional object like a conical hat, I realize that conical hats are inherently very modern. For generations, conical hats have always been a typical symbol of the rustic charm of Vietnamese women and people. But when more and more young people use conical hats as inspiration, they apply their creativity to conical hats with many various changes but still retain the traditional beauty.
