This country house is located high on a hill in the Leningrad region, near Lake Ladoga, overlooking the spruce forest. Our main task was to fit the house into a complex terrain.The residence consists of two levels and a ground floor. The main area of the house is diluted with an open terrace, passing into the guest area of the first floor with a second light.
The design of this weekend house is based on classic proportions, including modern elements suitable for countryside. The noble finish of Siberian larch is combined with modern energy-efficient panoramic windows. The unity between natural materials and the ease of glazing creates a balance between home comfort and suburban expanse.
