WORK Magazine No.2: Salaryman

2018

WORK is a biannual magazine that features a different different line of work for each issue. It aims to bring the most authentic side of the subjects to the readers, with the belief that every story deserves to be heard and respected. For this issue, WORK features Salaryman, a common term for Japanese white-collar workers who show supreme loyalty and commitment to the corporations where they work. Over the years, salarymen who suffer mental health issues or even death caused by overworking has increased. WORK wants to take an honest look at this group of people. The design of this issue mimics the work report frequently used by office workers in Japan.

Completed during final year in Lasalle College of the Arts, with guidance from lecturer Felix Sng.
This project has received Applied Arts Student Awards 2019, Red Dot: Junior Award 2019 and Crowbar Awards 2019.
