Open-world Spaghetti

When I was young, every weekend, my father brought home a Spaghetti Western (which I was not supposed to watch, but I hid behind the couch and watched anyway). At the same time, the era of open-world games was emerging, gifting the players with the great power of exploration. I was one of those players. This illustration is a homage to these two distinct forms of entertainment, which became embedded in my mind.
My goal with this illustration was to give a supernatural feel to a western town. I've made use of a two-point perspective, which converges to the horizon line lying on the lower 1/3 of the picture. The 6 o-clock sun, coming from behind the mountain, cast shadows and brightens the road, contrasting with the dark mine in the foreground, weakly lit by an old oil lamp.
Thank you for stopping by!
