Redesign of Thomas Court Bawn, Dublin 8.

This proposal takes a transitional space and adds a public event space.

The central green space offers play and leisure, whilst a temporary stage can be constructed to cater for community events.

 

The copper site barriers acts as a backdrop for the stage

The barriers create a visual interest for the site, whilst also allowing the passer by to see inside the site, thus drawing them in. 

The site's main function, as a transitional space has be retained and refined.
