Based on Pulikkali folk performance art in Southern India
The brief was to develop a pavilion based on folk artforms. Thrissur is cultural district of Kerala and there is nothing better representing it rather than the Pulikkali, which is a traditional art form that originated in this city in Kerala, India. It is a colorful and vibrant performance that involves people dressing up as tigers and other wild animals, and dancing to the beats of traditional drums and percussion instruments. Pulikkali is typically held during the festival of Onam, which is a time of celebration and joy in Kerala.

It showcases the rich cultural heritage of Thrissur and Kerala. The colorful costumes and energetic performances of Pulikkali are a testament to the artistic talent and creativity of the people of Thrissur. By showcasing this art form at a local pavilion, visitors to the area can learn more about the unique culture and traditions of Thrissur, and gain a deeper appreciation for the region.

Final Output
A interactive swing is added to the pavilion. When audience starts using the swing, There is "ghungroo" starts moving and makes a rhythmic pleasing noise.
Ghungroo is part of the attire for pulikkali and the element is used as the main component in this installation.
the use of lights can help to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, drawing the audience into the performance and enhancing their overall experience. This can be particularly effective when used in combination with traditional drumming and percussion, creating a multi-sensory experience that immerses the audience in the vibrant culture of Thrissur.
