Designed for Brisbane City Council to be installed in the City Botanic Gardens.

The brief was do design a suite of furniture for the Botanic Gardens redesign, inspired by the historical furniture from the gardens when they were first made in the 1850s. Taking elements from Formzoo's existing furniture suite designed for BCC, we developed a design that has a touch of heritage with modern manufacturing and materials.

Initial one-off prototypes for the components help us to make sure the decisions we've made work with the real materials, especially when considering things such as weld buildup and heat warping.
