Historic Saint Louis
This assignment was to create a banner for the Soulard neighborhoods of Saint Louis. I wanted to capture the essence of this historic environment with it's jazz history and a bit of the Mardi Gras scene with the trombone player wearing the jester hat. The building behind the trombonist is the famous Farmer's Market building of Soulard, and the masonry star at the top is a symbol of the neighborhood.
