Pattern Design was my first step towards becoming a graphic designer. I started surface pattern design when I saw the various gift wrapping paper during the holidays. When I think back the real fascination for patterns arrives from my cultural background in India. The bright colors and beautiful designs specific to each state can be mesmerizing and intimidating.
