The images below are from a new project, which included a kitchen extension and a garden/courtyard redesign, which started purely focusing on the outdoor space and getting the courtyard 'right' for the client's need and desire.
Once the design and character of the courtyard was established, we looked at the design of the extension of the house, which act as a scenography for the water fountain with a restraint palette of materials.
The courtyard design features include a new apple tree, a sculptural fountain, some seating furniture conveniently locating it where the shade goes in the summer afternoon.
