Stories of the Big City Park

Stories of the Big City Park, my graduation project at Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, was part of an Education Initiative, commissioned by the National Biodiversity Authority of India. My role was to creatively communicate the importance of biodiversity to the young audience of urban India, primarily pre-school children (3-5 year olds), through animated stories.

The animated film is based on the concept of 'Small Presence, Great Significance', that is, something might appear to be small, but plays a significant and vital role in our environment. It revolves around the relationship among an ant, a bee and an earthworm in a city park and communicates the interconnectedness in the web of life, of how each creature has an important role in maintaining balance on our planet.
