Harmonious Glyph Composition
Pictured on the left is the Neue Haas Grotesque Bold font and on the right the Stempel Garamond Roman font.
Each font has its own personality which makes it interesting in its own way.
The purpose of this project was to explore and create an interesting composition using the sans-serif font, Neue Haas Grotesque Bold, and serif font, Stempel Garamond Roman. The project had to contain five to eight different glyphs and could only be done in black and white. The final compositions were achieved by creating many different variations.
San-serif font: Neue Haas Grotesque Bold. The glyphs used: Q, H, S, i, j, d, and y.
Serif font: Stempel Garamond Roman. The glyphs used: M, I, S, k, g, j and 4.
