Commissioned by Shake Shack
This piece was specially commissioned by Shake Shack as a love letter to the neighborhood. From the green blocks, the roof eaves, floor tiles to the (mythical) animals like the Qilin, every element is inspired by the beautiful architecture that surrounds it, with a modern take. My heart is full along with my happy stomach, thank you again Shake Shack for your wonderful hospitality and support for the arts, and for this opportunity to create one of the best murals in my career where I've learnt so much not just about the rich history about the neighborhood, but also allowing me to push beyond my comfort zones.
