The Republica Hotel is located in the city center of Yerevan, in one of the oldest neighborhoods of the capital. The design concept is inspired by old Yerevan and is put in association with modern shapes. The entrance and reception area contain references to the prehistoric times of the Urartu Kingdom and the era of Persian rule, which are embedded in a modern and industrial-style setting.
The Anoush restaurant is located in the Republica Hotel and is in cohesion with the theme of the hotel itself. The history of Yerevan. A modern interpretation of an ancient cellar was created in the restaurant, as a storage for wine and food.
The old traditional style is maintained thanks to the wooden panelings used as food shelves and the massive clay vessels, reminding us of the wine amphorae from Erebuni’s prosperous times.
Rooms are decorated with Armenian carpets, adding softness and warmth to the straight forms of furniture. Natural materials such as wood, stone and natural veneer were used for creating the interior decor.
