Neue Haas Grotesk Font Poster
In my Typography (ART230) class, I had to create a poster to sell a font to a designer. I choose the Neue Haas Grotesk font because it looked appealing to me, and I did research on how it came to be. After completing sketches, variations, and shifting through color schemes, I've completed the poster to look how I envisioned it in my mind.
When creating my poster, I wanted to go for a modern look, which is why I used white space and minimal effects. When I finished the layout, I focused on choosing colors that had clear contrast and were visually appealing to viewers. Following the modern and mature vibe, I choose a muted orange and blue that stands out, but not to an extreme. This pop of color makes the poster interesting, without seeming too goofy or childish.
