"Caichá" is a wooden handmade box to store teabags in a more functional way.
Wood crafting project alongside Master Craftsman Vítor Castro.
The name "Caichá" comes from playing with portuguese words.
Caixa = box
Chá = Tea

"Caichá"
The project consisted on creating functional pieces alongside masters of craftsmanship. Our take on the project was to create a functional piece with only wood.
Various ideas were then sketched and modeled, and only after deciding which master to work with, we showed all the ideas to him, Master Vitor, who then helped and guided us to a final decision.
The tea box was the chosen one. So for the following days, we went to his atelier, once or twice a week to learn and work on the project.
