This is a quotation from a dutch man from the early 20's, it's describe that Berlin would always be the city of new ideas that is implemented regularly, but because of this and a lot of historical events the Berliners see Berlin as a less German and more open, it's hard to be attached to something that didn't come from German heritage and what makes it more difficult is fear of being patriotic as it brings sham of remembering certain events in German history, The site is located on the Berlin wall between the communist and the democratic part with all the architecture style with it, it would tell the story when all of Berliners united to break the wall of Berlin, it is re-symbolizing a national victory that could bring the feel of belonging back to the Berliners.
