I was inspired to make a series of portrait photography. The inspiration for this project came from many forms of portrait photography.
I chose black and white to give it a more emotional effect. Her eye was lightened for an interesting focal point, and then leads you around her face
I kept this one in color to show the vibrant primary colors on her hand.
My model is an upcoming fashion stylist J. Willard. The style is very trendy and laid back to represent a man’s clothing magazine.
I chose to imitate a portrait of Bob Marley because I liked the emotion and effectiveness of the hint of sepia tone the original photograph gave. I challenged myself to portray that same effect.
