For my Product Design Master of Science major project, I worked on a live brief for a wooden toy factory based in Somerset to design and create a new wooden toy. Some of the development of the project can be found in a presentation below, a 12,000+ word technical report was also written in conjunction with this project, with focus on Product Design Principals & Practices, Sustainability in design, Research Techniques & Principals, Usability Testing & Evaluation, and Perception Cognition Emotion & Context.

While also partaking in a four week industrial placement at Beehive Toy Factory in Lopen, Somerset, I was tasked with many design jobs; designing new wooden toys, marketing and graphic campaigns, and teaching the business about the product design process. This industry experience allowed me to work in a fast paced environment as well as communicate and learn from other departments of the business.
