Project 1: Designing with Text

This project was for us to learn how to effectively use serif and sans serif fonts to create a typographic design. This is the first project of the semester and is to utilize only black and white elements. There needed to be at least 2 different white and 2 different black characters used that are different. 

This serif font utilizes Neue Haas Grotesk and was an interesting trip. Through refinement it's actually become this which only has two of the same elements as the beginning. 

This sans serif font utilizes Stempel Garamond and is similar to the original. I found that there wasn't very much movement which is why the i's were added to the corner to provide a diagonal movement to move towards.
