Northwestern Sports Content Account | 2017-22

In November 2017, I started a Northwestern Wildcats sports content account on Instagram under the username "@northwestern.wildcats." I grew up a fan of the local Big Ten team my entire life and given the lack of Northwestern fanpages on social media, I figured there was a lane to have success with wherever I wanted to go with this page. While my graphic design and Photoshop skills were quite limited at the start (I was in the midst of my graphic design 1 class during my freshman year of high school), I knew I had the drive and ambition to grow the account into something special. Up until 2020, I was limited to producing graphics off apps on my phone but in January 2020, I got my own computer that was able to run Photoshop. From then on, I began making all my graphics with Photoshop until I retired the account in February 2022.

Through this account, I was able to realize I had a passion for sports graphic design. It allowed me to develop a personal style and brand through my content. At the peak of @northwestern.wildcats, I grew the account to over 3,500+ followers, which made it become the most-followed Northwestern sports content account on social media.
