In mid 2013, I decided to marry a love of my life. However, I came up with this idea of making our wedding fun, new and participative. So, I crowdfunded my wedding animation on Indiegogo and named the campaign MELT - A Little Love Story, which revolved around a cartoon animation. 'MELT' is a four-minute hand-drawn animation produced by Joe and Mindy and directed by an illustrator Konthorn Taecholarn. It features two mythical characters, Izzy the Ice Nymph and Quetzy the Quetzalcoatl. Both characters' design were based loosely on Joe and Mindy's appearances, but adapted to represent every man and woman's characters.

We invited The artist, Konthorn "Hongtae" Taecholarn to draw this great story for us all up to 900 frames by hand. Please check out his fan page here.

The contribution surpassed the goal of $8900 by 16% and although it was partly successful due to donations to the wedding, I had a wonderful time with my wife producing it, and the wedding would have been a nag without this cool initiative.
We are not currently releasing for public viewing, since we will honor the contributors of the campaign to view it via private link first. The public viewing will be available by New Year's Eve.
