ILLUSTRATION SAMPLES
Below is a collection of various quirky characters. There are some color renderings done in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. Below those, there is a smattering of sketches and doodles, which is how my illustrations start. I usually do them in pencil on any kind of paper I can get my hands on at the time. Once a sketch is created, I scan it in. Sometimes, I will manipulate the sketch further in Photoshop by rotating, scaling etc. certain parts until I'm satisfied with it. Then I set the sketch layer to Multiply mode, add a new layer underneath, grab my stylus and begin coloring.
Oh, and, way down at the bottom, I included a few digital sculpts that I've done in Sculptris. It's a very cool program - one that I plan on exploring more!
