Motion Canopy Pavilion

Motion Canopy Pavilion - The Pavilion aims to create an experience through interplay of lights, shadows and change in spaces. The difference in volume felt across walking through the spaces aims to create a motional impact on the person experiencing the spaces. The spaces will start to behave diffrently with changing lights throughout different times of day and night.
The Pavilion in Context with the Surrounding, the Roof and the Canopy aims to mimic some of the patterns of the wave and water flow in a metaphorical sense.
Roof Creation - Using Loft and Waveforms from Curves and Final Trim for Light
Columns Creation- Loft from Wire mesh and intersecting with the Organic Roof Profile.
Creation of the solid canopy and then breaking them into individual metal frames to create the desired panels fom a solid object.
Final Assemblage of the Roof, Columns and Canopies with a Base. Panelling applied on two columns with metal frames to create patterns of light and shadow and difference in experience.
