UCF Event Kiosk
Software designed for a campus-wide system of interactive, multi-touch kiosks to allow students and visitors to easily find their way around the campus and events schedule.
The variety of sizes of kiosk would allow the software to be dispersed around a campus in a way that should be attractive enough to not detract from the local environment but also be obvious enough that they are easy to spot by those who may not be as familiar with the campus. (note: these are shown for demonstration purposes only. I did not create the design of the kiosk, but instead placed appropriate branding on an existing design.)
The screen users would likely see upon arriving at the machine acts essentially as a screen saver, depicting video from recent events around the campus. Once the user taps the screen and reaches the home screen, they will be greeted by a collection of images representing upcoming events. Clicking on an individual event will give the user more information at first and a further click will take the user to a more in depth page if necessary.
