Helvetica Type Specimen Book

Spring 2020

For my typography class, we were to select a typeface and create a type specimen book that showcased the type's features, history, and modern use. I chose one of my favorite typefaces, Helvetica. The book was inspired by the same linearity and simplicity expressed in the letterforms. The use of bright color mimics Helvetica's range, contemporaneity, and attention-grabbing applications. We were originally going to print our books and assemble them; however, the pandemic had other plans.
