Wildlife&Birds.
Parts of us in this universe.

Al Wathba Reserve is located in Abu Dhabi. A late afternoon walk along the trail - the cool breeze of winter along with the gentle warmth of the sun. Spotting our feathered friends, in various ecosystems.

Truly an evening spent well.
Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve

A haven for birdspotters. Flamingoes form the highlight in the area, followed by swans - black and white. An early morning drive on a weekend, followed by a sunrise and golden hours of bird watching - nothing leaves you feeling more calm and serene
Swans

Black and white swans, and their cygnets also have a significant presence at the lakes in the reserve.
The smaller ones aren't to be ignored.
The Black-Winged Stilt

At first glance, can be easily mistaken for a seagull. They are equally ubiquitous near water sources. Their distinct black wing and long legs make them easily distinguishable.
Cranes

Probably the most interesting and exciting species to be spotted
Certain other birds.
It is not just the birds inhabit this area.
The Desert

The UAE has two types of deserts: a tourist's desert and the local's. While the tourist's desert gives dune bashing, an overnight camp and entertainment; the local's desert stretches for miles in every direction - where camels are reared, and stars form the overnight entertainment.

Somewhere in a wanderer's dream of a desert - a camel and her little one.
The National Bird

Interestingly, in an eco-friendly approach, trained birds of prey are released at specific vital locations in the UAE. This is done so that smaller birds such as pigeons and doves do not inhabit places that are to be kept clean, but are also a challenge to be cleaned.
But they are not easily deterred. They visit us.

Rarely, some VIPs too.
Felines

The unacknowledged land-owners from a feudalist era. Cats are well-looked after, voluntarily, by people. Every cat has their own area - they get their food, water and shelter in these neighbourhoods.
