Late NBA legend Kobe Bryant was one of the most dangerous players to ever step on an NBA court. Bryant could score from anywhere on the floor and dazzled fans throughout his 20-year career. He gave himself the nickname 'Black Mamba' in 2003.
Kobe took the name from 'Kill Bill' wherein an assassin uses a black mamba snake to kill another character. "The length, the snake, the bite, the strike, the temperament," Bryant said during the interview. "'Let me look this s--- up.' I looked it up — yeah, that's me. That's me!'"
Bryant had said he created 'Black Mamba' alter ego to separate his personal and professional lives.
