This is a mock book cover for Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. After the initial thumbnail stage, I created a comprehensive color comp to use. The earliest version of my handwritten text was placed as a spaceholder.
Next, I finished the image.
Then, i edited the text some more and added texture to it before adding it to the image.
