Topographic fantasy, 2020
Lines are foundational elements of drawing. They can be used in infinite different ways to create shades, shadows, volume, density, light bringing life on a sheet of paper. In this drawing, I wanted to play with the concept of topography that uses lines to represent the reliefs of a territory. I didn't sketch anything and improvised straight with indian ink on paper. Each line has its own power and balances with others forming a topographical world.
