Climate Change Campaign

As climate change continues to spiral out of control, the overall health of the planet deteriorates and becomes more uninhabitable for future generations. Carbon emissions and what we pollute into the air have a very big impact on the planet’s atmosphere and are what cause climate change. Every environment is put at risk as we continue to pollute and destroy the natural order, and over time every living thing will be at risk of extinction, including humans. As depressing and monumental as that is, we have to understand that it’s up to us to change this, and to do what is right for not just ourselves, but the future of our generation’s children and grandchildren.

This campaign aims to educate and promote awareness of how we are affecting our planet, and hopefully convince people to diminish harmful pollution one person at a time, using artwork and mockups of products. There are several products that can be used to actively reduce one's overall carbon and waste footprint on the environment, as well as ones that will help spread the word of this campaign.

During the inception of this campaign, a mood board was created to form a general basis for what the designs would look like. Included in this mood board was artwork and font designs, such as the images below, that were used for inspiration.

Next, three initial designs were decided upon, which were used in different ways for each of the products. Together, they captured the messaging and general feeling aimed to be presented in the products of this campaign.

I hope that this campaign has helped to promote and spread awareness of environmentalism and the issue of climate change. Please go forward with the mindset that we are not the only ones that using this planet, and we won't be the only ones using it in the future, so we need to treat it with the utmost respect.
