Staples Look Book Photoshoot

The Staples Connect strategy included the creation of a Staples Look Book to be used as a sales driver at Staples locations. This printed catalog promoted all of the newest and most crave worthy products Staples would be offering. As part of this project I served as Creative Director on set during the 2 week photoshoot. Working with the project Art Director, my PM team and the photographer we brought to life the sketches and concepts approved by the client for this edition of Staples Look Book.
Specific roles and responsibilities that I own on a shoot like this include being a key creative touchpoint for the photographer, the production team, including stylists and set designers, as well as a point of contact for all clients and creatives not on set during the shoot. Additionally, I act as managing director on set for talent, briefing models on what the concepts are and what we are expecting to get from the shoot and then directing them in such a way that we successfully capture them. I am also heavily involved in working alongside the photographer to coordinate and direct the production team on set construction and layout, advising on wardrobe and styling of set (and talent), providing direction on set lighting and all other aspects of a photoshoot.
