The Green Team and the Innovation Design Lab of the Politecnico di Torino launched a call for researching and designing a product of communication to make know the areas of sustainable development of the University.
If you have ever been near a university copy lab you will have noticed how much paper is wasted every day. Wrong prints, wrong formats, the trimmed edges of the artboards. It all ends in the trash. So why not take these mistakes and turn it into something supportive for the students themselves? How about restoring its life, turning it into seed paper?
An estimated 70% of students suffer from anxiety, always thinking that they are not enough. On the other hand, proximity to plants has been shown to help relax.
Sakseed was born to help students deal with their goals by promoting a stress-free environment.
The process is simple: you just have to write your goal on the biodegradable stick and, once you've achieved it, plant it wherever you want. It'll soon grow into beautiful plants and remember you that HEY! YOU MADE IT!
The name plays with the words success, seed and succeed, while the arrow shape suggests to follow the direction towards one's goals.
