Trixie Cosmetics Brand Idea

Trixie Mattel, a world famous drag queen with a passion for makeup artistry. Beginning her career as a makeup as an artist at big brands such as MAC, Trixie Mattel, drag name for Brian Firkus, has always had a passion for makeup artistry. Going on to becoming a rising drag queen, Trixie Mattel named herself “Trixie” after that name was given to her from her abusive step father growing up, poking fun at Brian’s femininity. Trixie also has a strong obsession for 90’s toys, with the largest of them being “Barbie,” therefore paying tribute to large toy brand, “Mattel.” Trixie went on to appearing on national television on season 7 of “Rupaul’s Drag Race,” where she was eliminated from the season.

From her style, she created “Trixie Cosmetics,” which she would create to help those embrace the highest peaks of their femininity, and not run from it, but also with pro-formulas at an affordable cost. Of course, she would absolutely continue her brand tribute to “Barbie” and “Mattel,” therefore, all of her formulas would be the brightest of colors, deepest of pigments, and packaged like an old 90’s toy.Today, Trixie uses her platform on Youtube, which just won a gold Youtube Creator Award, to advertise her brand and Trixie Cosmetics. Trixie’s passion for makeup artistry continues to grow and she continues to produce the highest quality makeup formulas such as lipsticks, blush, highlight and soft glitter that is gentle enough to use anywhere on the face, but does not require heavy layering for the pigment needed to shine. The products created by “Trixie Cosmetics” can be used by the fiercest of drag queens, or even the most normal of day to day makeup looks, because of their affordability.
