Project name: Housing for the middle-income group.
Project brief: This was an academic group project. We wanted to incorporate the covid19 issues, social liability, essence of community, etc. We wanted to build a healing habitat for the people.
We allocated 70 families, housing amenities, sharing community space, commercial zone. The expanses of housing amenities will come from renting the commercial spaces.
We choose staggered massing to integrate our concept considering the climatic issues of Bangladesh. The maximum height of the massing was 160'. We provide community space in 3 different levels as the ground courtyard, urban voids in the 6th and 7th level, and staggered roof. Community spaces will use as social refreshments. Statistics say that the children want to play on the ground. So, we allocate a playground in the central courtyard.
