Sometimes I like to play with other artistic disciplines while I’m taking photographs.
In one of my latest posts, “Landscapes”, I approached romantic painting, with this series I take a stroll through the comic books and films that have influenced me in the past: Blade Runner, D. McKean, W. Eisner, F. Miller, Akira… I hate to admit it, but this series also has a lot from the movies of S. Spielberg.
Do I love those rainbow flares from the lights that shoot directly into the lens. Maybe it’s because my old photography teachers frowned upon these effects, because they considered them an uncontrollable amateur mistake, but that’s another story.
 
NOTE: I took this photographs the night of the hurricane Sandy, in New York, Manhattan.
