Still Moving is an interactive art installation where users were asked to observe the installation from their experience and as seen through their smart phone. When viewed through the phone, the fast spinning triangle blades appear to stand still and slowly rotate.
The curiosity posed to the viewer was to reflect on the world that we see when viewed through our devices. What we see isn't always what is there.
Users activate the installation by covering a sensor inside the window. The individual shutters spin at nearly 10x a second and appear as a blur to the eye.
Looking through a phone, undulating patterns are revealed — no special app, settings or site required.
