Final compositions
The Glyph Project was an assignment I completed for a typography class at BYU Idaho. The focus of this project was to create two unique design compositions using only glyphs. One composition contained serif glyphs. The typeface we were assigned to use was Stemple Garamond Roman. The other composition was created using Nue Haas Grotesk Display Pro Bold, a sans serif typeface very similar to Helvetica. The project involved learning the anatomy of type, and specifically learning about these two typefaces. The parameters for the assignment were the following:

The format for each composition is 6.75 × 8 inches tall.
Each composition must contain five to eight different glyphs.
Each composition must include at least five unique glyphs.
Each composition should contain at least five different elements of typographic anatomy.
Each glyph must be all black or all white.
In the composition at least two glyphs should be black, and two glyphs should be white.
Use only alphanumeric glyphs.
Each composition should be abstract and follow design theory.
