"“The crib of the gods”.  This was the name used by mayas to refer to the first deck chairs ever made. An invention so pleasant that it still exists today. However, like nowadays, our ancestors would have to get up every once in a while to cool themselves in water and, that way, make the heat more bearable. The insight or the starting point of this invention originated from the following:

“Heat shouldn’t be a reason for me to leave my deck chair”.
