Mediums: Photography and Video (twenty-one seconds long)

The hair in this project represents the Arctic Sea Ice and its depletion over the past 38 years. This piece displays scientific data in a different manner in hopes that it will evoke a different emotion towards climate change. In our society, if someone does not have hair, it is perceived that something is wrong with them. Hair can grow back but not if it is being destroyed. It needs to be taken care of and it is our own responsibility to do so, just like it is with the Earth.
