This project is from the Comprehensive Design Studio at UWM. The project looked at a site in Milwaukee's Third Ward, incorporating an existing building. The program of the site was to be an artist community for local artists to live and work. Additionally, the site must attract visitors in the form of an artist gallery and cafe. I chose to detail out the artist follies. These are 400 square foot studios for visiting artists to work in. These studios are paired with circulation and utility space serving as the connection. The program is such that visitors are able to walk through the site and interact with each of the follies.

The final deliverable for the project included a CD set. The packet includes detailed plans, sections, elevations as well as construction details. Additionally, we were tasked with drawing a human touch detail, a designed architecture element which visitors would interact with.
